Christ-centered Day Care

Conveniently located at Grace Baptist Church just off of Highway 58 in Halifax County, Virginia. Our private Christian day care is easily accessible from South Boston, Halifax, Virgilina, Chase City, and Clarksville, Virginia, and Roxboro, North Carolina.

Curriculum

We’ve chosen to use educational resources from BJU Press, a Christian publisher, as part of our curriculum. As a leading publisher, BJU Press’s materials support our educational and biblical philosophy.

Requirements

Age Requirement

Two-year-old applicants must be two by September 30th, three-year-old applicants must be three by September 30th, and four-year-old applicants must be four by September 30th for the start of the center’s year which begins the first Monday of August.

Toilet Training Requirements

• • Two-year-old Toilet Training must begin at home. Children will be toilet trained in accordance with the requests of the family and in a manner that is consistent with the child’s readiness, both physical and emotional.
  • The teacher and the family will work together when a child is ready and then negotiate a plan that will be consistent and manageable in both settings.
  • Three-year-old children must be introduced to and working on potty training.
  • Four-year-old children must be fully potty trained.

School Hours

• • GCADC will operate year-round. The first day of the center for the year will start on the first Monday of August.
  • The center is open Monday – Friday from 7:30 am until 5:30 pm and offers several full and part-time options based on the program chosen for your child at the time of enrollment.
    • Please do not drop off your child(ren) earlier than 7:30 am
    • Please pick up your child(ren) no later than 5:30 pm

Center office hours are from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
